Shuttr ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Shuttr mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
When you use our AI editing features, your photos (which may include faces) and text prompts are sent to third-party AI services for real-time processing:
We do not extract, store, or perform biometric analysis on facial features. No facial recognition, face mapping, or facial geometry data is collected at any point. Photos are processed in real-time and are not retained on our servers beyond the generation session. Generated results may be saved to your device or account history if you are signed in.
Third-Party Face Data Handling: Neither Google (Gemini API) nor xAI (Grok API) store your face data or uploaded photos. Photos containing faces are transmitted via encrypted connection, processed in real-time to generate your requested result, and immediately discarded by these services upon completion of the request. No face data is retained, extracted, or stored by any third party at any point. For details on how these providers handle data, please refer to Google's AI terms and xAI's terms of service.

We do not retain your original uploaded photos or face data. AI processing occurs in real-time, and photos are not stored on our servers after processing. Our third-party AI providers (Google and xAI) also do not retain uploaded photos or face data beyond the duration of each generation request. Account data (email, credit balances, generation history) is retained until you delete your account.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
You may delete your account at any time from the app's Settings page. This will permanently remove your account data from our systems.
Shuttr is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app.
